We saw a post concerning lessons for Homeschoolers in the fall of 2022 and although I was a few months late, Betty welcomed us with open arms and got us scheduled for Horse 101 lessons right away. Our trainer, was full of knowledge about the horses on the grounds and shared so much interesting information with us to get us acquainted with our horses. Now at four months in, my boys LOVE their lessons and look forward to them, connecting with the horses, and learning new riding skills while loving on these sweet and beautiful animals. I HIGHLY recommend doing lessons with them and their patient horses! Both of the humans and animals are amazing to work with!

We love the Lazy K! My two elementary age children have been coming to the barn for a few months now, and I have been so impressed with the value and quality of the lessons. Lauren is an excellent instructor-she is thorough, knowledgeable, and very patient! My kids are in OT and speech services for some sensory and communication needs, and horse riding has been an awesome addition to those therapies. Lauren does a wonderful job of helping my kids overcome challenges while being very attentive to their individual needs. And the lessons are fun! It has been a great experience for us.

Over the past 3 years Lazy K has become our home away from home. The lessons our children learn, not only about horses but about life, leadership, and friendship are taught at Lazy K. Kelsey and the team have been an integral part of our family and I couldn't imagine not having them around. I highly recommend lessons at Lazy K!

I came to this barn as an adult amateur dressage rider with minimal western experience. I started attending “Ladies’ Night”, in an effort to make some friends and learn some new skills on my semi-retired mare, and it was so much fun that I decided to give ranch riding a try. Kelsey is an experienced, informative, tactful, kind, and patient instructor. She has an ability to meet you where you’re at in your riding journey, and adjust her instructions to suit you and your horse to help you be successful, while also having a good time. The atmosphere of group lessons and the barn in general is also very friendly and welcoming. Everyone is so kind and supportive of one another, and seem to recognize that we are all just here to learn, improve, and develop as riders and horsemen.
