Trainers Seth and Jenna Adam work full time at Lazy K Arena.
With a specialty in starting colts, Seth and Jenna pride themselves
in natural horsemanship. The
majority of the horses they work with are ranch horses, but the two also have
experience with horses that go on to show, feed lots, race tracks, or
backcountry trails. They do work
with problem horses their owners are ready to give up on training.
Lessons
Lessons offered at the Lazy K are for horse lovers of
all types.  From four to one
hundred four, we offer something for all ages and skill levels.
We ride both indoors and out.
Indoors we work on various skills needed for proper riding by playing games
 and going through obstacle courses. We
also offer guided trail rides throughout the beautiful Platte River Valley
and even rides through the river.
If you don’t own or have access to a
horse the Lazy K has horses that can be used for trail rides as well as
lessons.  Jenna Adam gives
lessons for our beginner riders, for western riders, and 4-H'ers who need a
little help. Andrea Gray offers
lessons for English riders and advanced western pleasure.
Seth Adam also helps beginner ropers learn how better improve their
skill.
During the summers boarders, lessons,
and other
4-Her's join Jenna at local shows & fun
days. We all travel together, help each other, and learn together!
This experience is not limited to any age or skill level, we just want to
help teach safety and proper riding for people who may have had to learn the
"hard way." It is a great opportunity for beginners
 and
novice riders to become more comfortable with the showing environment, as
well as long time show goers to travel with a group in a relaxed atmospher.
We try to go to small, local shows so family and friends can come and enjoy
as well. Normally we leave the barn as a group, travel as a group,
pack lunches, and stay all day long to enjoy all events. Along with
learning a bunch we also have a lot of fun. It is Jenna's main goal
for all to enjoy showing but be as stress free as possible. If you
